My love of photography began when I received my first camera, a Canon Powershot S400 for Christmas in 2003. The following morning my wife, Carrie, and I were leaving for a trip to London, England. I studied the manual on the plane as if I was cramming for an exam……little did I know that this would only be the beginning. Over the last 4 plus years we have continued to travel and I have continued to learn. 5 cameras, 7 lenses, and 7 countries later I am just getting started!
Growing up in Vermilion, Ohio I developed a serious interest in all things related to Lake Erie; this love of water has definitely become a dominate influence in my photography. I intend for my photographs to share the beauty of the natural world, as I see it, with others. I currently reside in Amherst, Ohio with my wife and our son Daniel.
